Berkshire Environmental Action Team
Berkshire Environmental Action Team (BEAT) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We protect the environment for wildlife in support of the natural world that sustains us all. BEAT has three major focal areas: stewardship, education & outreach, and watchdogging. Berkshire Zero Waste Initiative is a program of BEAT, and has recycling programs for many hard-to-recycle household items. You can learn more about accepted items on our website.

Donations Restriction: Electronics, including laptops or smaller, any cords, no appliances. Household batteries, no car or bike batteries. Clothing must be dry and unsoiled.
Clothing and textile bins located in parking lot at 20 Chapel Street, Pittsfield. Inside drop off of electronics, batteries, and other items listed on website. Building open hours Monday to Thursday 10 am – 3 pm, or call to arrange a different drop off time.
